What’s the difference between Alerts and Events?

Edited

An Event is a single snapshot activation from a device, generated through webhooks sent to Watchful.

Each event includes an image that has been processed by AI, object analytics, and the monitoring group’s filters.

Multiple related events from the same site and timeframe are grouped together to form an Alert.

In other words, events are the building blocks of an alert, and Quill and monitoring officers review them together to determine the correct disposition and response.
