What (or Who) is Quill?
Overview
Quill is Watchful’s AI Monitoring Assistant. She analyses camera events in real time, suggests dispositions, and supports monitoring officers during investigations.
Using the site-specific instructions you provide, Quill reviews every event and recommends the most likely classification. Monitoring officers then confirm or adjust her suggestion to ensure accuracy.

How Quill Supports Monitoring Officers
Quill’s role is to help your team respond faster and more accurately. She assists by:
Analysing each camera event as it arrives
Suggesting a disposition (classification)
Highlighting potential intruders
Recording actions in the Activity Log for full transparency
You remain in control; Quill simply enhances speed, consistency, and decision quality.

Activity Log
A real-time record of all actions taken by both Quill and monitoring officers for a specific alert.
It ensures transparency and helps review the sequence of decisions during an investigation.
Draw Mode
Used when the system does not automatically detect a person.
Draw Mode allows you to manually draw a bounding box around a subject.
Quill will then analyse the selected person and generate a description.
